Introduction to the School

The School of Economics and Management is one of the secondary schools affiliated with Chongqing Industry Polytechnic College. Currently, it has nine junior college majors, including Big Data and Accounting, Marketing, E-commerce, Financial Technology Application, Modern Logistics Management, Customs Affairs and Foreign Trade Services, Hotel Management and Digital Operation, Tourism Management, and Cabin Crew Training . It also has two undergraduate majors jointly run with Chongqing University of Education, namely Economics and Finance, and Tourism Management. Among them, the Big Data and Accounting major is a key construction major for professional ability improvement in Chongqing. The Hotel Management and Digital Operation major is a national demonstration college construction major supported by local finance. The E-commerce major is a pilot major in Chongqing for the second batch of national "1+X" certificate. The Modern Logistics Management major is a major for the professional service industry ability improvement project in Chongqing. The Marketing major is a major for the school's professional service industry ability improvement project. The Customs Affairs and Foreign Trade major is a key cultivation major of the school.

The School of Economics and Management has a high-quality and highly-educated teaching staff, with more than 110 faculty members currently. Among the teachers, there are more than 30 with senior professional titles, 8 with doctorates, 75 with master's degrees, more than 80 with dual-qualified teacher abilities, 1 national technical expert, 5 Chongqing technical experts. One person has been selected into the "Ten Thousand Tourism Talents Plan" of the National Tourism Administration, and one person has been selected into the "Fifth Batch of Outstanding Talents Plan of Chongqing Higher Education Institutions". There are more than 3000 students.

Students have won more than 100 awards at the municipal level or above successively, among which there are more than 20 first prizes at the national level. Graduates possess solid professional knowledge, relatively strong innovation abilities and relatively high comprehensive qualities, and are deeply welcomed by employers. In the past five years, the employment rate of students has always remained above 97%.

Introduction to the Youth Envoy Exchange and Study Tour Program

The "International Supply Chain Youth Envoy Exchange and Study Tour Project under the Background of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor" is a distinctive project focusing on technical and skilled talents. This project sincerely invites young technical and skilled talents from France to come to Chongqing Industry Polytechnic College for a 14-day study and exchange journey.

The content of the study and exchange is rich and diverse. The core section is the Smart Supply Chain, which encompasses four key modules: Smart Logistics, Customs Clearance and Customs Declaration Business, Cross-border E-commerce, and Supply Chain Management. These modules enable the participants to thoroughly explore the cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in the field of international supply chain.

In addition, traditional culture projects of the Bayu area are carefully arranged, such as traditional handicraft experiences and lectures on the history and culture of Chongqing. These activities allow the participants to fully experience the unique regional charm and cultural heritage of Chongqing, promoting in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and French youths at both professional and cultural levels, and cultivating young envoys with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication abilities in the field of international supply chain.

●  Project Enrollment Targets

This project targets young talents who will work  in the service industry of new productive forces in countries along the routes. It mainly selects young and middle-aged talents with potential and influence. The selection criteria include educational background, work experience, work performance and so on.

Young managers of cooperative enterprises in France as well as teachers and students of colleges and universities there have already been selected. The final list will be determined according to the actual situation.

●  Project Cycle

The training cycle of this project lasts for 14 days. The specific study tour time will be reasonably arranged according to the learning and exchange situations of the trainees. The project is divided into two stages. The specific arrangements for each stage are as follows:
